At the end of February 2017 in Orenburg, GT Light delivered the second set of LED road equipment ordered by a local road organization. The structure included - an LED road sign and a full-color road display with variable information.
The equipment was installed on the M5 highway, the end of the Krasnoshchekovo settlement, the 170th kilometer mark. This LED sign can display any traffic sign having an aspect ratio of 1 : 1. The road board, in turn, will assist in informing about the condition of the roadway, weather conditions, as well as about the presence of situations affecting traffic restrictions.

Variable information road board
The road board is made on the basis of monochrome modules of three indications - red, green and yellow. A series of modules - GT10-OX-V with a pixel pitch of 10 mm. Pixel shaping type - DIP. The minimum point of perception of the picture from 7.5 meters. Thanks to the brightness of the LEDs in the amount of 4000 cd / sq. m, the reproduced information will not fade in conditions of poor visibility and in direct sunlight.
The size of the LED road sign board is 3840 x 960 mm. Taking into account the used pixel pitch P10, the resolution was 384 x 96 px. The aspect ratio of the board is 4 : 1. The frequency of the image regeneration is 1000 Hz. Electricity consumption at peak loads - 3.24 kW, at average loads - 1.62 kW. LED screen weight 139 kg. Operating temperature range from -50 ° С to + 70 ° С. The road board fully complies with the interstate GOST standards.

In the production of the road sign, the GT20-OX module is used based on the most reliable and durable Nicha LEDs (Japan) with a pixel pitch of 20 mm. Pixel shaping type - DIP. The minimum image perception distance is 15 meters. Brightness of LEDs - 9000 cd / sq. m. This indicator of brightness is one of the highest. The project uses power supplies from the Japanese company TDK, which have a lifetime warranty.
The size of the LED road sign is 1280 x 1280 mm. The resolution was 64 x 64 px. The aspect ratio of the sign is 1 : 1. Electricity consumption at peak loads - 1.1 kW, at average loads - 0.55 kW. The weight of the LED screen is 70 kg. Operating temperature range from -50 ° С to + 70 ° С. The LED road sign fully complies with the interstate GOST standards.
