The section of the Kavkaz highway in the Kizilyurt district of Dagestan is one of the busiest. More than 30,000 vehicles pass the highway between 764 and 769 km per day. The reconstruction, which is planned to be completed by 2022, will ensure the regulatory capacity of the highway. In addition, the number of lanes in some areas has increased to 4.
Installation of modern LED road signs by GTLight is one of the most important stages of reconstruction. Route P217 provides access to the port of Makhachkala, and is also the main transport artery connecting Russia with Dagestan, and therefore with other countries of the Middle East.
A total of 4 scoreboards were designed and manufactured by order, which were installed in pairs on 2 sections of the route: 764 km and 805 km.
Traffic board characteristics:

- The number of rooms in each board is 12 pcs;
- Pixel pitch P8 mm;
- Remote / local control ETHERNET, GSM.
GTLight traffic boards are equipped with light sensors, which allows you to adjust the brightness of the glow depending on the level of illumination of the environment, which means saving on electricity. The launch of the scoreboard was completed in record time. The company's specialists had to set up and launch the equipment on New Year's holidays, which made it possible to increase road safety, since after the holidays, when the traffic on the site became much more intense, the boards were already functioning successfully.
