At the beginning of February 2017, in Orenburg, GT Light supplied a full-color LED road sign commissioned by a local road organization. The location of the road board is the Orenburg - Orsk - Shilda highway, the 11th kilometer mark.
The main task of the LED display will be additional information assistance in the organization of traffic.

Displays information on the condition of the roadway, informing about weather conditions and the presence of situations affecting traffic restrictions. Also, the scoreboard will play a social advertisement urging vehicle drivers not to violate traffic rules.
For the implementation of the project, the installation supervision scheme was chosen; therefore, the installation of metal structures and LED equipment was carried out by the customer. The connection of complex technical and electrical units was carried out with the remote support of the specialists of the GT Light company. The construction of the LED screen is block, the material of manufacture is an aluminum composite panel.
In this project, a P10 tenth pixel pitch LED module with IP65 front surface protection is used. Pixel shaping type - DIP. The minimum image perception distance is 7.5 meters. The LED module has wide viewing angles, 140 ° horizontal and 120 ° vertical. Thanks to the high brightness of the LEDs, at a rate of 7000 cd / sq. m, the information reproduced on the road board will not fade even in direct sunlight. Also, in conditions of poor visibility, a road board with a high brightness is much more effective in terms of perception of information from long distances.
The size of the LED strip is 3840 x 2880 mm. Taking into account the used pixel pitch P10, the screen resolution was 384 x 288 px. The aspect ratio of the screen is 4: 3. The image refresh rate is 1000 Hz. Electricity consumption at peak loads is 9.24 kW, at average loads - 4.62 kW. The weight of the LED screen is 345 kg. The highway, in terms of weather conditions, is a rather harsh place of operation, open space, strong winds, therefore this project has a range of operating temperatures from -50 ° C to + 70 ° C.
